Core & Context

The Journey

Originally from Romania, I now live and study in Denmark. One of the reasons I chose to move here was my admiration for Scandinavia but not just the culture and the language, but how technology and society are built on efficiency and high standards. I wanted to immerse myself in an environment that values quality and logic, and I've spent my time here adapting my technical approach to match those expectations.

Right now...

I'm doing my degree in Multimedia Design and looking ahead to my 4th semester. I'm searching for an internship starting in January 2027, but I'm also interested in finding a part-time student job in the field before then. Even though this study cover a lot of different areas, I've realized I'm much more drawn to the technical side of things rather than just making things pretty.

The Goal...

Is to take the Web Development top-up after Multimedia Design to become a full-stack developer.

What I've Been Building

Online Portfolio

I used this project to learn how to make Vue and GSAP work together for smooth animations. I spent a lot of time making the code clean and easy to manage. For example, I mimicked an API response by giving each language its own JSON file for better organization. I also simplified bloated files, refactoring 130 lines of code down to just 30. To make the site faster and improve SEO, I implemented Vite SSG and Unhead. The result is a site that looks great, loads quickly, and is easy to maintain.

The Brothers Lionheart

For my first collaborative project, our group created a digital experience for The Brothers Lionheart. We delivered a high-performance interactive site that earned a B-rating for sustainability (Carbon Rating) and exceptional Page Speed Insights scores: 99 performance, 96 accessibility and 100 in both Best Practices and SEO. It was a masterclass in teamwork and technical execution using HTML, CSS and JS.

CPM Ridesharing

Designed, coded and deployed in 2023. This was one of my first major projects. Solving a real-world need for a car rental business catering to rideshare drivers. Built with Angular, Sass and TypeScript, the site was optimized for speed and accessibility from day one. Used Google Tag Manager to further understand the users. According to Page Speed Insights the site still maintains an impressive 95+ performance rating on desktop and a strong 87% on mobile even today.

Rocket To Moon Animation

This animation serves as a high energy segment of my Video CV, built with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. While this project showcases my professional motion skills, my foundation in editing runs much deeper. I've been editing videos and funny moments for over 10 years, transforming a long-term hobby into an instinct for timing, pacing and visual storytelling.
